AUTOCORD has several unique features not found on many other TLR brands. The AUTOCORD III was introduced in 1966 and was MINOLTA's last TLR model variation produced. The MINOLTA AUTOCORD had an 11 year production run ending in the 1966. The AUTOCORD was MINOLTA's entry into the high-end TLR marketplace competing directly with the German made Rolleiflex and Rolleicord medium format cameras but at a lower price point.
